i was worshipping God, with the song "amazed". as i worshipped, i really felt so amazed by His love.
i am a sinner. a very sinful sinner. i've sinned against God so many times. but yet, each time when i return to Him in repentance- He always forgives me. the most amazing thing is He was never disgusted by us.
and He just loves us and forgives us as who we are.
i know this sounds dumb, but i asked a simple question, "just why do You love me after all?"
i've asked Him so many times, and the answer was obvious. i didn't know why but this time around, His reply was so real.
the reason is simple, my child, he said,
because i love you.
it was not as if this was the first time He had told me that during my quiet time, but somehow, this time around, it seemed so real to me. such a simple sentence that touched me deep within. and i know, something inside me is changed.
i just know it.
this assurance in my heart-
is just amazing.
He loves me.
